Under the direction of the GM, the Cage Manager is responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and support to departments that deal directly with guest of LASC. Required to have cashiering experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides guests with an enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere, and providing prompt, friendly service to both internal and external customers.

*Prepares and builds banks for internal customers. *Exchanges currency, vouchers, chips and monetary instruments. *Complies with all IRS requirements for payout. *Monitors money for counterfeit currency, fraudulent identification, and monetary instruments. *Handles customer claims and reports to Cage Director when applicable. *Issues, receives and verifies banks for revenue outlets. *Maintains security of key control and access cards while on duty. *Completes federal cash reporting requirements as per Title 31 of the Bank Secrecy Act. Must attend Title 31 training classes. *Oversees the over-all cleanliness of the Cage area. *Makes necessary decisions with scheduling, call outs or early outs. *Completes necessary paperwork as outlined in the policies and procedures. *Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. *Maintains security of all assets, monies and personnel. *Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activity by employees or gaming customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation within established policies and procedures. *Serves as a proactive team member in the Cage department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Keep department organized and communicate the structure of your area, to include setting and meeting goals, role clarification, expectations, etc. *Delegates’ responsibilities to the Cage staff. *Recommends measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase quality and enhance job safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ability to manage employees, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams.

*Must be able to complete counts accurately and efficiently. *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. *Must always present and conduct himself/herself in a professional manner, maintains a high level of respect for the co-worker, director and the company. *Must be able to work a variety of schedules, long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. *Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills. *Ability to use good judgment in intense situations. *Strong cash handling and counting skills. *Computer literate in Microsoft Windows preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s or related degree preferred.

*3 years casino or management experience *Minimum age requirement is 21. *Cashiering skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
