Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty coffee production roaster based out of Tallahassee, Florida. Since 2010, we have focused on expanding our brand through a growing café portfolio, an expanding wholesale business and a booming e-commerce platform with nationwide reach. The Digital Media Specialist role aids in the expansion of our brand through digital marketing avenues for our local and nationwide customer base. This position will work in close liaison with corporate and franchise cafes within Lucky Goat Coffee and be at the forefront of brand development through social media platforms, advertising initiatives, e-commerce enhancements, and market expansion efforts. From concept to execution, this position will improve our digital customer experience by bringing our brand to life and keeping it consistent across our various platforms.
This is a full-time position within Tallahassee, FL reporting to the Vice President of Branding and works on the Branding team in a collaborative and passionate environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Two to three years in a digital marketing role.
- Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form).
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
- Keen eye for trends and the ability to provide a constant stream of innovative ideas.
- The ability to prioritize and hit deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proven management and organizational skills - with thoroughness and attention to detail.
- A dedicated and supportive team player, flexible, accommodating, doing what it takes to help others succeed.
- Ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to develop good work relationships, enjoy meeting and working with people at all levels and from diverse walks of life.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Creative problem solver and multi-tasker seeing tasks through to successful completion.
- Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, and web analytics. Ideally through Mailchimp and Shopify platforms.
- Experience with Social Media Campaign Planning.
- Curate engaging and strategic storytelling content for social media and e-commerce platforms. Communicating the intrigue of specialty coffee and the story behind our brand.
- Analyze social media metrics to gather insights to greater optimize performance.
- Engage with our online community and respond to all inquiries. Striving to deliver consistent customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the e-commerce platform, including product launches, inventory management, and site enhancements ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience.
- Monitor website performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and sales metrics, using analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Perform SEO audits of our website including performance data, rankings data, and site analysis.
- Implement digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, sales and expand our brand presence, including email marketing campaigns, promotions, and targeted advertising campaigns across digital channels.
- Increase organic traffic, achieve featured snippets, and track online metrics to optimize search engine performance.
- Stay informed about digital trends, best practices, and industry developments to provide recommendations for new features and initiatives to enhance our online shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute cohesive marketing campaigns across all digital platforms.
- Coordinate with brand ambassadors and content creators to promote brand awareness and drive brand loyalty.
