We are seeking a talented and dedicated Receptionist to join our Sweetwater, TX, team. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors to our office, giving directions, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phones, taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail, to name a few of the duties. The receptionist will also assist accounting in various duties including invoicing in addition to supporting other departments with requested office support.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Job Requirements

• Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
• Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good management of your time.
• Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
• Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
• Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
• Maintains security and telecommunications system.
• Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
• Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
• Operates telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Assists all departments with various assigned tasks including invoicing and other needs as needed and requested.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This position is in our corporate headquarters in Texas. Ludlum Measurements is a large part of the Sweetwater community. Locally, we have excellent fishing and hunting, and on the second weekend in March, we hold the world's largest rattlesnake round-up which draws crowds up to 30,000 people.
