Floor Lead

Lulu Berkeley is expanding our small team of 6 to be able to keep up with the demand of our growing small business! We are a new Palestinian-Inspired California restaurant in the heart of the Gilman district of Berkeley. We are woman-of-color owned and operated small business and pride ourselves in being a small, tight-knit, hard working and dedicated team with a passion for the food we make and providing a special experience for the community we serve. We offer competitive hourly pay/salary, DOE, and offer a $100 a month stipend for health insurance. Up-to-date food handlers card is required. Tips are pooled.

We are currently looking for a seasoned floor lead. The Ideal candidate has the following experience:

• Is a reliable, professional, and customer service oriented floor lead with at least 3 years of experience working in the restaurant industry.
• Must be available weekends--work schedule for other days of the week are open as well.
• Toast and Resy experience prefered , but not required.
• Must have Barista experience, serving experience, and some alcohol beverage knowledge.
• Must have high level of communication skills with management, employees and vendors.
• Must have ability to work well in a fast-pace environment and strategize through busy service and situations.
• Energetic individual who has excellent customer service skills.
• Leader that leads by example with great team management skills.

More than anything we are looking for a team member that has a positive attitude and is eager to learn and uphold high standards. This position will start off as a morning/afternoon position only, but as we add dinner service to our schedule you will be expected to be available both Wednesday and Thursday evenings to execute dinner service.

This position will have a lot of room for growth as we ramp up to expand Lulu in the next year, we hope to find somebody that wants to grow with our team and find a home in our little team.
