Purpose And Job Summary
The primary focus of the position is to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients and to aid in the management and administration of our complex loan servicing portfolio through the superior execution of several core functions including but not limited to system maintenance, interacting with Loan Operations, Asset Management, Originations, Closing Coordinators, Investor Reporting and Accounting. The position will also provide leadership and direction to more junior members of the team. Performance of these duties at a high level of accuracy and responsiveness is critical to the department to respond to time-sensitive requests and other key functions that ensure the lender remain in compliance with all the investor's Lument services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Expert ability to read and interpret core loan documents across all product types.
- Ability to project lead, outline responsibilities, and delegate workflow to ensure completion by required deadlines.
- Provide regular status updates to upper management regarding any outstanding items or deadlines.
- QC and review newly set-up and converted loans utilizing closing documents to compare to new loan delivery package.
- Support the Associate Director with audit-related inquiries with the ability to report departmental statistics and audit control metrics including RegAB, IA and SOX practices.
- Assist the Associate Director with IT-related initiatives to test and implement system updates.
- Ability to effectively contribute to strategic team initiatives and goals.
- Conduct training for less experienced team members through positive, constructive, and timely feedback across all team functions.
- Must be able to gain a comprehensive understanding of all departmental responsibilities and support management with special projects related to department goals or as needed by the team.
- Ensure proper notification, communication, and coordination with Lument’s legal and compliance personnel. All job functions are executed in compliance with investor requirements and Lument’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with Lender Technology to test and implement system enhancements.
- Prepare payoff/IRR calculations for all product types in accordance with investor and departmental guidelines.
- Proactively manage maturing loans and correspondence.
- Knowledge of escrow administration which includes obtaining annual renewal insurance certificates and full policies, premium invoices/proof of payments, completing premium disbursements, shortages, advance recovery, Mortgage Insurance Premium disbursements.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- 5-6 years in commercial mortgage servicing or commercial real estate is required, with exposure to FHA, USDA, Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae loans. An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skill set to perform the job functions will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients (internal & external), all investors, legal counsel, and others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and list other relevant systems or software
- The ability to effectively self-manage and work independently, while functioning as a highly effective team member.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, to meet critical and established deadlines.
- This position is expected to assist junior team members in managing and prioritizing their workload while supporting managerial responsibilities.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities.
- Professional business image and excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing (spelling, grammar, and punctuation).
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; can adjust priorities in a changing environment.
