Luther Haven is seeking a part-time Activity Assistant interested in working at our campus. The Activity Assistant assists the Activity Director in planning, organizing, developing, and directing quality activities for residents. Looking for an energetic, self-starter with good communication skills who also enjoys people, music, crafts and has computer skills.
Requirements:
Must be able to lead small and large group activities.
Ability to assist with individual activities, outings, and socials.
Prepare reports of residents’ progress in programs.
Must be able to communicate well with residents, family and other staff.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and requires moderate to heavy pushing.
Ability to walk long distances several times a day.
Ability to lift, bend, twist, and push.
Ability to read and follow directions.
Ability to multi- task and prioritize.
Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
Must be able to complete and pass a background check.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR request and be approved for an exemption
Schedule: 35hours per pay period
Tues. & Thurs. 4:00pm – 8:30pm;
& every other weekend: Friday & Saturday 4:00pm – 8:30pm, Sunday 12:00pm – 8:30pm)
