Parts Counterperson-Paid Training! Flexible Schedule!

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Counterperson with a passion for cars to join our team at Luther Park Place Motors in Rochester, Minnesota. As a Parts Counterperson, you will assist customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles and provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, hourly sales job with paid training and a flexible schedule in the exciting auto industry. This is an individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to work independently and make a positive impact on our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate parts and accessories
• Locate and order parts for customers as needed
• Ensure accuracy of orders and maintain inventory levels
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
• Keep track of customer orders and provide updates on status when necessary
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers
• Attend training and stay updated on new products and industry developments
• Follow safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of work area
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service or sales preferred
• Knowledge of auto parts and basic mechanical understanding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
