RN Dialysis
Summary:
- The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) supports purpose and ambition to help people get well and live healthier by providing safe, quality healthcare, building enduring relationships with our patients and providing value for the people and communities we serve.
- Acute Dialysis RN responsible to perform critical tasks in assessing, initiating, monitoring and terminating dialysis treatments, in a hospital setting.
- Oversees and provides direct patient care for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure in accordance with applicable scope, standards of practice, policies and procedures, regulatory requirements.
- Acute Dialysis RN provides quality nursing care to adults / aging adults requiring hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, peritoneal dialysis in the inpatient setting.
- Performs other related duties.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of a state accredited school of professional nursing.
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of dialysis nursing experience.
- Requires ability to work as part of a team and willing to assist others when needed.
- Dependable transportation required.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current RN license within state
- Current CPR certification or obtained within the first week of employment.
