We’re currently seeking a dedicated Scheduler for our skilled nursing healthcare center at Luther Acres, a Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Hours are 8a-4p and every other Saturday.

WHAT YOU DO:
As a Scheduler at the Luther Acres Healthcare Center, you’re an integral part of providing timely, accurate nursing staff schedules to meet resident care needs. In this role, you’ll use effective organizational and communication skills to complete the nursing department schedule according to budgetary constraints and census fluctuations, while also managing the time and attendance program for designated staff. Candidates should provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality regarding residents and team members. Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Complete and maintain the master staff schedule for all department specific positions, while keeping meticulous records of team members' attendance, absences, and tardiness.
- Facilitate timely completion, posting, and updating of the daily Nursing Staff Form as required by the PA Department of Health.
- Understand and manage daily PPD/schedule of staff due to census fluctuation, call-offs, benefit time off, and pre-planned leaves of absences.
- Provide a daily update of shift needs and initiate daily contact with staff to fill open shift needs and schedule the use of per diem agency staff if approved by the Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director.
- Prepare and submit accurate payroll time and attendance verifications.
- Collaborate with Staffing Services Manager to maintain staffing levels at our Lebanon and Lititz locations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Proficient computer skills and various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
