OverviewLutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Director - International HR in our Corporate Headquarters. In this position, you would be a key part of our global Human Resource team.
The Director - International HR is both a strategic and hands-on role that will provide HR support and guidance to the executive leader at HQ, as well as the senior leadership within our international offices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the international leaders to develop and execute plans for building leadership and management capability that align with the overall business priorities.
- Coach senior leaders and influence the international HR strategy for the team.
- Anticipate the needs of the organization and proactively drive people strategies that differentiate Lutron in all its markets.
- Drive implementation and execution of HR-related policies, programs and guidelines, organizational design, company culture and employee development.
- Enact policies, programs and decisions that treat our people fairly & well
- Develop people to their full potential
- Engage leaders and people to execute a differentiated customer experience time after time
- Ensure compliance to local HR regulation and practices
- Work with our sales and services leadership to anticipate the needs of the organization and execute HR programs such as:
- Coverage plans and staffing
- Attracting and retaining exceptional people
- Overseeing the execution of onboarding for new employees
- Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Identifying training needs and partnering with the learning organization to successfully execute programs
- Ensuring job rotations for development and learning
- Partnering with leaders to ensure compensation and performance management programs are properly executed

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources Management or a related field with a minimum of 3.00 GPA
- Minimum of fifteen years of work experience in an HR professional role.
- HR certification preferred
- Experience in managing others
- Experience working abroad in an HR capacity
- Experience working with and collaborating with non-US teams
- Effective at collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
- Excellent judgement in complex situations with multiple stakeholders
