GENERAL FUNCTION
The E-Commerce Channel Sales Analyst (ECSA) supports the Senior Director, E-Commerce (SDE) and the e-commerce Sr/ Account Manager with achieving sales growth within the dynamic e-commerce channel of trade. The ESCA will be a critical part of the team supporting the identification of growth opportunities and delivering on sales objectives. The ECSA will bring analytical insights to the E-Commerce sales and marketing teams and support forecasting and planning of the e-commerce and consumer electronics channels.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast & Budgeting
- Support the Sr. AM in the achievement of annual performance objectives including sales units, dollars and AUP.
- Manage the annual and quarterly budget process in collaboration with Sr. AM, Sr. Director and Business Analyst.
- Provides a consistent rolling update to internal teams of business outlook as compared to the forecast and budget on a monthly basis.
- Forecast current & future business by analyzing sales reports to ensure both internal and external sales targets are achieved
- Forecast weekly, monthly and quarterly orders and invoicing volume/trend and report out to management
- Monitor & analyze sell-in and sell-out sales to inform internal budgeting and reporting.
- Also support forecasting/budgeting for Consumer Electronics (CE)
- Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Generate all business reporting including weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and post promotion sales reports and provide summary recaps highlighting sell-in opportunities & risks.
- Develop and maintain reporting processes to track sell-out performance, customer inventory, turns and WOS.
- Review and analyze the sales impact of new product launches, promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Deliver timely brand sales reporting as requested by the brand management, inventory planning and business intelligence teams.
- Develop customer procurement models by brand to streamline market procurement process.
- Monitor customer’s weekly replenishment order flow and monthly return request
- Plans, reconciles and reports the monthly co-op log and workbook.
- Relationship Building
- Develop relationships with internal departments including business planning, inventory planning, brand teams and sales operations to effectively support the Sr. AM and drive account strategies.
- Develop relationships and trust with key customers including Amazon & Walmart.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree: concentration in business/finance preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple data sources
- Strong analytical skills, verbal and written skills, as well as strong presentation skills
- Effective project management skills and strong organization/time management skills with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment across large cross-functional teams
- Ability to develop and maintain key management relationships, both internal and external
- Strong Retail Math skills, both sell-in and sell-out
- Proficient in SAP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in a similar role involving Product/Assortment sales analysis in CPG, electronics, fashion or retail industries is a Plus
- Ecommerce experience a plus
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Walmart Retail Link
