Job Posting for Levee Maintenance Technician at Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority
The Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Levee Maintenance Technician. This full-time, union, permanent position directly reports to the Levee Operations Supervisor and duties include but are not limited to: the skilled operation of riding turf mowers and other equipment, pump station maintenance, drainage structure activations, and other general duties in the operation and maintenance of the 16-mile Wyoming Valley flood protection system.
The starting rate is $18.00/hr. or $37,440 annually. Normal work hours are Monday thru Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM with overtime opportunities.
