Job Description
- Transcribes details of the interview and physical exam per physical instruction utilizing medical terminology and documentation guidelines within the EMR.
- Scribes may not act independently but documents the physician's or licensed independent practitioner's dictation and/or activities.
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments to the extent required to understand and accurately transcribe dictated reports. Translate medical abbreviations into their expanded forms.
Requirements
- Previous Electronic Medical records experience preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Scribe is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 0-1 years of experience
- Language Skills – Proficient in typing and good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication. Listen to complex medical information and summarize in a clear, complete, and concise fashion. Excellent English composition skills required to generate professional, polished writing at a high rate of production.
- Willing to learn.
- On site and remote job available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
