- Respond and attend to all requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues and concerns.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the hotel’s appliances and operating machines.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
- Perform all other duties requested by Area Director of Engineering.
This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities
Must have experience and demonstrate knowledge of all HVAC systems.- Must have experience and demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems.
- Is knowledgeable in plumbing with the ability to soft solder or electrical with the ability to install new 120V/208V branch circuits.
- Must have experience working with boilers, chillers and cooling towers.
- Proficient in MS Office is a MUST.
- Electrical / HVAC Background with Hands-on Building Trade Experience Preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 7 years of combined engineering/trade experience.
- Previous experience leading a team of engineers is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business.
