Core Essential Functions
  • Coach and counsel team as needed and further develop skillsets.
  • Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
  • Respond and attend to all requests in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues and concerns.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on the hotel’s appliances and operating machines.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.
  • Perform all other duties requested by Area Director of Engineering.

This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Must have experience and demonstrate knowledge of all HVAC systems.
  • Must have experience and demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Is knowledgeable in plumbing with the ability to soft solder or electrical with the ability to install new 120V/208V branch circuits.
  • Must have experience working with boilers, chillers and cooling towers.
  • Proficient in MS Office is a MUST.
  • Electrical / HVAC Background with Hands-on Building Trade Experience Preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or 7 years of combined engineering/trade experience.
  • Previous experience leading a team of engineers is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business.
