Job Description Summary:
The Clinical Field Trainer is a licensed clinician (LPN,RN, etc) who coordinates and provides direct one on one care in the home or alternate treatment site, ensuring patient safety while providing continuity of care in compliance with the physician’s plan of treatment.
The Clinical Field Trainer is responsible for the delivery of patient equipment & the care following the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. He/She does so by coordinating the lymphedema pump delivery, instruction, and education for patients & their families.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Skillful application of lymphedema pump in home settings.
- Regular patient health assessments and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
- Precise documentation of treatments and patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborative work with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Patient and family education on lymphedema pump therapy and health management.
- Adherence to all Clinical Field Trainer expectations and requirements as outlined in our Standard Operating Procedures for this role.
- Ensuring patients have a positive LymphaCare experience.
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or other clinical program.
- Current active and unrestricted nursing or other clinical license.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working as a clinician in an area that requires training and hands-on experience with patients in the home setting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Self-directed with the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Proficient technology skills.
- Ability to travel within an hour radius of your home.
- Comfortable with meeting patients at their homes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance with access to a vehicle for business travel.
- Home Care experience is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
