What are the responsibilities and job description for the FIAR Analyst position at Lynch Consultants?
What We Are Looking For:
As a member of the team, you will assist Federal Agencies to achieve and maintain FIAR compliance, and serve as a liaison with the IG/IPA conducting the Financial Statement Audit. You will be responsible to ensure audit-related requests are captured and disseminated to the appropriate stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for managing audit requests by updating metrics reports, making assignments, tracking due dates, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and ensuring timelines are met. You will act as a liaison between the independent auditors and stakeholders to communicate and track all audit requests to ensure completion in the prescribed timeframes.
Requirements:
- Requires US Citizenship and location of DC Metro
- Requires Active SECRET Clearance
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited United States college or university (preferably in Business, Finance, or Management Information Systems)
- Minimum (2) years of professional experience within a Federal Agency or Fortune 500 company.
- Located in the Washington DC / National Capital Region (NCR)
The ideal candidate:
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management and Accounting
- Minimum 2 years within Federal Agency or Fortune 500 company.
