SUMMARY:

Responsible for organizing and coordinating various bookkeeping and administrative assistant job functions.  Some duties and responsibilities will vary as not all departments are organized the same.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records
• Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records
• Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases using specialized accounting software
• Receive, record, and bank cash checks and vouchers
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies procedures and regulations
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and table pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits/losses
• Assist Owner of company with daily tasks
• Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Microsoft office, ten key, and other office equipment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage time wisely
• Event organizing and planning
• Advanced knowledge of accounting mathematical formulas
• Ability to keep business matters confidential
