Ophthalmology office is looking for a positive and energetic front desk associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail orientated, organized, reliable, and be able to multitask. MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL OFFICE REQUIRED. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients
- Preparing Charts
- Verifying eligibility - knowledge of insurance plans is a plus (HMO, PPO, EPO, Medicare, etc.)
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Submitting insurance
- Posting payments
- Following up on past due accounts
