Qualifications:
- AAS in Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Strong computer skills, to include experience with CAD or other design software, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with various manufacturing / metal fabrication methods, including:
- Aluminum and steel welding
- CNC machining, punching, bending, cutting, etc.
- Production layout, process flow optimization, work cell design, etc.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent work ethic and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers at every level of the organization.
- Assist Manufacturing management in the design and optimization of production processes, to include focus on manufacturing methods, work cell layouts, labor distribution, and material utilization.
- Coordinate with Production, Materials, Design Engineering, and Sales personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review order accuracy and manufacturability of made-to-order products.
- Assemble manufacturing routers, calling out specific and unique requirements for each component, and providing guidance and clarification to production personnel as needed.
- Participate in day to day activities to optimize product quality, employee safety, and production efficiency.
