We are currently looking for someone who has experience in the landscape industry, is hardworking, organized, and self-motivated to join our Team.
· This is a unique position that will provide support and encouragement to team members. You will be networking with existing clients, associations, and subcontractors to receive referrals and leads for new sales and confirm happy with MJ service.
Daily and General Responsibilities:
· Client communication
o Meeting with clients on a weekly to monthly basis
o Alerting when work to be completed
o Sales-contract renewals and additional enhancement projects
· Working with the Foremen to help organize and oversee daily tasks for the various teams.
· Act as a source of guidance and motivation to all team members.
· Help foreman prepare:
o Understand the tools and equipment needed each day and help ensure everything is onsite when needed and in good working condition.
o Load tools, chemicals and equipment on and off trucks and trailers.
· Promote team development through the M.J. Design training Program.
o Carry out and teach team members the proper techniques to weed, cultivate, prune, deadhead, dig, lift, carry and wheelbarrow, etc.
§ Use and teach proper equipment and safety procedure practices.
o Utilizing proper Horticultural practices and continuing to train all staff throughout the year.
· Assist the Landscape and Maintenance leaders in ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
· Be sure that all work orders and timesheets are completed correctly.
o prior to Office Admin teams approvals and running of payroll.
· Prepare billing material and invoices are ready to be produced.
Qualifications
· Min 3 yrs experience in landscape industry
· Strong Horticulture knowledge
· Self motivated and go getter
· Speak Spanish a plus and /or willingness to learn

· Understand M.J. practices and procedures
· LMN Time – App and how it works
· LMN Estimating and CRM system – the ability to do estimates and complete Contracts, especially Maintenance renewals
· Time and Efficiencies – how teams work together and importance of scheduling. How weather and subcontractors influence day to day operations.
· Outlook – email and communication system. Both for client and inner office
· Word and Excel - in order to do proposals and organize work
· Clients - who they are? Ranking of who is important? What different services we provide.
· Continuing education on the overall Landscape Industry. Attend industry events, take classes, attend association meetings.
