We're currently searching for a Sales Associate to join our Wound Care team. Based out of the New England area, this is an entry level sales position which provides approximately 18-24 months of industry-leading training in medical device sales. From there your goal is to move into a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) role within the US!
As a Sales Associate you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, and educating customers on product features, distinctions, and utilization. You will represent the Company in sales calls, and assist your Regional Sales Team in achieving designated sales goals. You can expect 75% travel, often overnight!
- Have administrative duties such as preparing reports, entering data in Salesforce.com, and following up on orders.
- Attend sales meetings and trade shows, remaining cognizant of trends and developments in the industry Develop new and / or expand business with existing customers through introduction of new products, presenting product information, and explaining product features and distinctions
- Work with distributor management and distributor sales representatives to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, expand business opportunities, and increase customer service
- Identify and resolve customer problems through contact w/ the Customer Service Department. Develop effective customer relations in order to ensure satisfaction and service, and promote needs awareness. Maintain a variety of contacts within Molnlycke to gather and exchange information related to sales goals and results, product availability and pricing, marketing strategies and plans, and status of orders
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- The Sales Associate will undergo approximately two (2) months of on-boarding and twenty-two (22) months of functional field sales training and experience, working or assisting in a territory
- Holding a Sales Associate position should not exceed twenty-four (24) months from your start date, promotion into the TSM or next level position should occur before this time period. Filling an open position will likely include permanent relocation, so you must be open to moving!
- Projects could include temporarily relocating to an open territory for an extended period of time to cover a vacancy
- Other extended travel could include job shadowing senior level sales professionals to learn the business, in-services at customer locations to train clinicians Upon successful completion of the Sales Associate program and in line with all assigned Management Business Objectives (MBOs), individuals are able to vie for open TSM, or next level, positions that match their skills and interests within the Company
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field from an accredited college and / or university required
- Demonstrated leadership skills during collegiate experience strongly preferred
- Customer service, sales and / or marketing experience preferred, but not required. negotiation skills preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, walk for long distances, and stoop
- Must hold and maintain valid driver’s license and have clean driving record that permits the
driving of company owned vehicles
- Up to 75% travel required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain hospital required credentialing including COVID-19 vaccinations
- Must be willing to relocate within the US for a TSM role

Salary: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
