What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at M&M Buses & Limo?
Job Duties:
- Route Planning: Develop efficient routes to ensure passengers reach their destinations on time.
- Driver Coordination: Maintain constant communication with drivers, addressing any routing issues.
- Situation Monitoring: Keep an eye on road conditions, construction zones, weather, and accidents to revise routes as needed.
- Customer Updates: Inform customers about the status of their drivers in case of delays.
- Call Handling: Answer calls from drivers and customers, relaying emergencies to the appropriate personnel and handling quotes, booking modifications, and client questions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor DOT hours to ensure drivers can complete their trips, arranging relay drivers if necessary.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
We are looking for STELLAR candidates who:
- Have open availability (weekends are a must).
- Are knowledgeable about the Greater Chicagoland Area.
- Understand they will be the primary representative of the company, embodying our core values of transparency, integrity, and trust.
- Are proficient with computer applications, GPS tracking, application installations, and troubleshooting.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Are detail-oriented and take pride in completing tasks.
- Are computer literate (Google Docs, Sheets, Email, etc.) and comfortable with video conferencing tools like Google Meet.
Shifts Needed:
1. 6:00am to 2:00 pm (2 weekdays off TBD)
2. 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (2 weekdays off TBD)
