Overview:
Serve as the relationship manager between Technology End User Computing and the M&T Business Lines focusing on two way communications between the parties and leading learning/marketing initiatives to drive technology adoption, digital dexterity, and exception employee experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison and function as a key point of contact within Technology End User Computing for all business units.
- Market new and existing technology product solutions to all business units to drive awareness and employee readiness.
- Solicit technology feedback on use of existing technology services and requests for enhancements or changes to services to best meet the needs of employees.
- Provide highly-valued consulting level support and guidance to business units through use of key technology products and engage subject matter experts as appropriate.
- Facilitate smooth adoption of new end user computing technologies by assisting in readiness, adoption, and learning opportunities.
- Advise the business on the effective use of technology specific to their use cases to improve efficiencies and productivity.
- Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff - including Engineers, Management, Helpdesk - regarding technology service requests, projects and initiatives.
- Promote Technology services and roadmaps to the business. Serve as advocate on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure Technology services meet their business priorities and needs and understand any potential challenges with new deployments.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build a strong culture of collaboration, including stakeholder relationships, with Business Line to prioritize the most impactful enhancements and opportunities, resulting in an improved customer experience.
- Develop, deliver and manage digital marketing and communications initiatives translating a clear message to users.
- Provide training administration and tactical support, which may include scheduling and training event logistics.
- Support the collection and analysis of business readiness and customer experience data, including survey development and administration to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide input and support the design and delivery of training programs or learning resources.
- Assist in design and implement plans to optimize user experience and engagement.
- Lead/Collaborate and analyze results of marketing campaigns and make recommendations based upon campaign results and effectiveness in meeting business objectives.
- Implements programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees
- Obtain and analyze data via numerous sources to identify patterns which require technology development or learning to improve service delivery and customer experience.
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years' internal and/or external technology and/or business experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 5 years' internal and/or external technology and/or business experience
