About the Business Unit:
M3 Executive Search provides healthcare executive search services to academic, acute care and health plan clients. We are a retained search firm that helps our clients identify and hire healthcare executives or executive recruiters (or a combination of both) to represent searches on our clients’ behalf.
Job Description
The mission of the Executive Consultant is to support the Sr. Executive Consultants in their efforts to either source/screen candidates (Recruiting skills) or assist with setting up introductory calls with client prospects (Business Development skills). Executive Consultants support the Sr. Executive Consultants on a rotating basis based on the needs of the group.
Executive Consultants are responsible for these duties Including, but not limited to the following:
- Work with the M3 Sr. Executive Consultants to prospect and screen candidates for specific searches. Due to our boutique size, these activities could stretch geographically based on your relationships or relationships you are able to develop. Generally speaking, M3 Executive Consultants focus on either academic medicine or acute care, but we are always searching for new verticals and opportunities.
- Participate in profile calls with clients for new executive searches in a professional manner, gathering all appropriate information to represent our clients at the highest level.
- Work with the research team to define search strategy, review and select candidate profiles for targeted prospecting.
- Maintain data integrity by entering all appropriate candidate data into the applicate tracking system to help track candidates correctly and create databases for future searches.
- Prospect candidates using all available resources for assigned executive searches for the Sr. Executive Consultants you are helping in a rotating fashion.
- Perform initial screening interviews on all candidates and elevate qualified candidates to the Sr. Executive Consultant for final screening.
- Prepare all deliverables for client updates and candidate presentations and attend all client bi-weekly update meetings.
- Partnering with Senior Executive Consultants on searches as assigned with a focus on candidate prospecting and fulfillment.
Qualifications
- College degree
- 1 year of search recruitment firm experience is preferred
- High Emotional Intelligence
- Communication – must be able to effectively communicate with high level executives at a variety of clients, internal teams and departments and executive management.
- Detail Orientation - Attention to detail is critical to success in executive search
- Time Management - Must be able to multi-task, reprioritize, and effectively manage time
- Process-driven - Understanding of technology and an interest in applying it to the executive recruitment process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Adobe/Smart Sheet. Training is provided with Smart Sheet.
