Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Vice President of Product and Marketing at MDLinx, an M3 company.

Job Description

Marketing:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing, promotional, and communication strategies to increase physician engagement and amplify product awareness.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through ROI, productivity, and performance metrics.
  • Direct and mentor a dynamic team of digital professionals responsible for executing diverse customer email programs, innovating email management approaches, and driving commercial revenue through editorial solutions.
  • Champion the creation and optimization of marketing programs and campaigns, encompassing social media advertising, event support, web presence, PR, and other promotional activities. • Steer corporate communication initiatives, managing both internal and external communications, and leading public relations efforts.
  • Supervise and cultivate marketing vendor relationships, outlining special projects, ensuring timely delivery of commitments, and providing regular status updates.

Product:

  • Drive product strategy, vision, and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead product development initiatives, ensuring products meet market needs and are launched with clear go-to-market strategies.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, ensuring continuous product improvement and alignment with market demands.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from ideation to sunset, ensuring products remain competitive and relevant in the market.

Creative:

  • Set the vision for crestive strategy, ensuring effective deployment, monitoring, and management of all intellectual properties.
  • Lead and inspire a team of creatives to produce innovative designs, campaigns, and content that resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and product initiatives, setting guidelines and standards for visual and written content.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure creative concepts align with overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline required, MBA preferred
  • 7 years of related, progressive B2B marketing experience required (healthcare experience is a big plus)
  • 5 years in a leadership role managing marketing professionals required
  • 3 years of experience in email marketing and leading email efforts
  • Strong Email HTML/CSS coding knowledge
  • Experience with enterprise level ESPs (e.g. iPost, Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Deep knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills. Proven ability to influence others and gain buy-in from key stakeholders across all levels
  • Self-motivated, innovative, ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Superior attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Excellent personnel and team management skills including training, mentoring and coaching
  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
  • Strong analytics experience and skill set. Ability to synthesize complex data in Excel across multiple sources to glean actionable insights and communicate trends both up and down. Proficiency in creating pivot tables and v-lookups is required.
  • Proven experience in goal setting, tracking, and reporting. Ability to quickly parse complex data to anticipate and/or react to promotional course corrections as needed
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools
