Roof repair tech

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced roofing repair tech. This person will meet with customers, diagnose and repair damaged residential roofs. Our ideal candidate will have extensive roof repair experience and have a great attitude with a strong desire to satisfy the customer. This job also entails checking on roof replacement jobs, making sure the crew is meeting all standards, walk with the homeowner, help clean up, pick up extra materials needed, etc.

Your days will have a lot of variety! And while you will have to travel each day from job to job, there is no out of state or overnight travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and repair roof leaks.
• Estimate the time it will take to do the repair and have the ability to price is appropriately
• Write out repair estimates for the homeowner
• Communicate with the homeowner and the owner of the company about the progress and status of the repairs.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid NC Drivers License
• Ability to write and speak in English fluently

• Willingness to complete a background check
• General understanding of different types of roofing systems
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to 10 hours a day.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• We pay well and all pay is depending on experience, range of pay between $18-32/hr.

You MUST have experience doing residential roof repairs in order to be considered for this position. This is a position that will offer 30-40 hours per week. We are NOT looking for crews.

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
