Manager - Sales & Marketing Power Systems

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting segment business leaders in their efforts to deploy marketing and sales campaigns according to annual growth objectives.     

Position Duties/Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Supports development of marketing plans and resulting sales objectives for each Power Systems business segment. Participates in annual business planning and works with managers to establish their objectives, builds detailed marketing and sales campaign plan and budget to aid in achieving annual goals.
• Partners with sales leadership to generate promotional and sales campaign ideas, supports administration and execution of campaigns through to completion, including analysis of return on marketing investment.
• Generates leads and profitable market share through various channels (i.e. phone, email, promotional campaigns, etc.)
• Manages and expands consistent marketing materials, working closely with resources in other MFC divisions to ensure consistency and leverage existing practices.
• Supports website content creation and landing pages for digital retail efforts.
• Create and manage analytics for sales and marketing results (i.e. dashboards, standard reports, ad-hoc reports, KPIs and etc.)
• Leverages OEM partner content and pre-packaged materials and promotions against a promotional calendar updated at least regularly for each segment.
• Assist with Sales & Marketing Functional Excellence and OEM partner programs as needed.
• Support segment leaders with trade shows, customer events, and other engagements as needed.
• Supports usage and best practice implementation of enterprise CRM.
• Champions activities to promote the MFC enterprise, leverage practices across MFC, and “sell the house”

Supervisory Responsibilities:  Supervise junior member(s) of team

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related business field
• 7 years or more of experience in marketing related role
• 2 years or more experience leading people
• Proven ability to build market intelligence, manage customer and prospect information, build and execute sales and marketing campaigns
• 1-3 years of digital marketing experience/practices
• 1-3 years of B2B demand generation and prospect cultivation
• 1-3 years of direct sales experience
• A valid driver’s license

• Proficient computer with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn CAT/MacAllister/Michigan Cat systems
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills
• Excellent analytical skills, proven ability to build market intelligence, manage customer and prospect information, build and execute sales and marketing campaigns
• Excellent creative thinking skills; good decision-making skills and basic goal setting skills
