Job Description:
Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks and are responsible for the delivery of lumber, sheet goods as well as any other items for the customers. Driver will stop at both residential and commercial locations. Driver will safely maneuver vehicle in residential and commercial environments. Navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
- Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to speak, write & understand English.
- Good physical agility with the ability to lift up 50lbs repetitively. Experience in handling loads.
- Ability to utilize local highway maps. Able to follow detailed instructions.
- Willing to work overtime, as needed.
- Clean driving record.
Essential Functions:
- Organize loads according to company standards.
- Review customer orders for delivery according to branch standards for accuracy and timeliness.
- Advise management of any errors.
- Ensure that information for related order forms are processed according to company standards and are turned into the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
- Collect C.O.D. payments as needed.
- Conduct cycle count as requested by management.
- Schedule to be determined.
- All other duties as assigned.

Starting Wage: Hourly: $20.00 -$21.00 per/hour (depending on experience)
