Mach is a defense manufacturing company that builds munitions to help the United States win future wars. Backed by $85M in funding from top venture firms, our small lean team ideates, designs, manufactures, and sells cutting-edge weapons to the Department of Defense.
Mach is looking for a full-life-cycle Technical Recruiter to support a variety of duties and responsibilities focused on the sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding of top talent candidates. In many cases, you are candidates’ first encounter with Mach and it is your job to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. You will be a strategic problem solver and have a shared sense of urgency in identifying and filling critical roles. We work in teams and focus on collaboration yet require a high degree of autonomy. So, while you are not expected to simply go at it alone, you are expected to show initiative, take responsibility, and run with tasks to completion.
Your day-to-day routine will change often as hiring priorities shift, but there is a basic set of activities you can expect to run with daily, including, but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Drive high touch, consistent, end-to-end candidate experience from job posting through to onboarding and employment.
Develop trusted and influential relationships with internal customers and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Discuss and negotiate compensation packages with candidates and guide the offer process to close.
Initiate and perform background and reference checks.
Foster a service oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
Evaluate candidates for alignment with company mission and values.
Prepare hiring teams by developing cohesive interview plans and best practices for interviewing.
Continuously refine the hiring process to ensure high interview-to-offer ratios.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or similar experience.
4 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting.
Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong customer service mindset.
Excellent communicator and problem solver.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure.
Highly organized with a knack for building relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high volume recruiting
Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical, propulsion, software and manufacturing engineers.
Experience recruiting skilled labor

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
