Job Summary
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for customer service for all US specialty stores in partnership with the specialty Account Executive. The Sales Assistant will also support the US major department stores sales team by managing the day-to-day responsibilities to support the growth of the brand and drive sales.
What you’ll do
Customer Service
- Enter, process and revise all orders from customers with high degree of accuracy and provide order confirmations.
- Pre-season partner with specialty Account Executive to review all payment terms for customers and communicate potential challenges to senior leadership.
- Provide weekly shipping updates in conjunction with specialty Account Executive both internally and externally.
- Work closely with accounts receivable on payments and follow up.
- Partner with the warehouse on shipping requirements by customer.
- Provide shipping updates to customers.
- Advise all Agents & Sales Representatives for order discrepancies such as delivery dates, price correction as well as style cancellations in partnership with sales.
- Set up new customers and maintain updated records in partnership with sales.
- Assist Account Executive with RTVs & Swaps in season.
Sales Support
- Weekly reporting.
- Soia&Kyo sample management; tracking from factory to showroom.
- Customer sample requests.
- Communicate with Buyers and Soia&Kyo Agents as needed.
- Manage VPI & Copy turnover to all accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of management meetings and market appointments.
- Support Joor & NuOrder setup.
- Provide general administration support as needed.
- Store visits and product knowledge presentations.
What you’ll bring
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- Wholesale experience preferred (internship experience included).
Technical Skills and competencies:
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships within the company (cross-functional teams) and outside with business partners and clients, always acting as a Brand Ambassador.
- Must be flexible & adaptable to an ever-changing industry, able to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Strong Excel skills (experience with PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS highly recommended).
- Self-starter, solution-oriented thinker and takes initiative.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Proactive communication skills.
