The Physical Therapy Aide performs various duties from assisting office personal to assisting in the care of patients assigned by and clinically supervised by the Physical Therapist, P.T. Licensed Applicant or P. T. student. This position can be part time or full time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current CPR certification

2. Physical, auditory and visual requirements as stated in attached copy of the Job Task Analysis.

3. Emotional stability conducive to dealing with a high stress level for 8 hours at a time associated to dealing with fast-paced physical activity, rapidly changing conditions, creative problem solving, emotional demands and demands of maintaining effective working relationship with patients and peers.

4. Knowledgeable in medical terminology.

5. Some working knowledge of computers, fax, multi phone lines, and other office equipment.

6. Good level of organizational skills with keen mental faculties and decision making skills in the care of acute and chronically ill patients.
