Parts Specialist

Maddie's Motor Sports, Western New York’s largest motorcycle and powersports dealership group, is looking for a parts sales specialist. DAILY TASKS:

• LEAD SALES CONSULTANT IN THE PARTS/ACCESSORIES/CLOTHING DEPARTMENT
• ANSWER INBOUND PHONE CALLS
• ORDER PARTS FOR ALL VENDORS
• CHECKING ON B/O PARTS WHEN WE ORDER TO ADDRESS AVAILABILITY CONCERNS AND TO SEE IF WE CAN OUTSOURCE PARTS FROM OTHER VENDORS OR FIND ALTERNATIVE PART OPTIONS
• OVERSEE AND ASSIST RECEIVING AS NEEDED
• TRAIN AND SUPERVISE THE RECEIVING CLERK AND ASSIST AS NECESSARY

WEEKLY TASKS:

• MANAGE SPECIAL ORDERS
• COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS TO EXPEDIATE PARTS PICKUPS
• MANAGE “ON HOLD” PARTS TICKETS & “SPECIAL ORDER” TICKETS AND CLOSE OUT OPEN PARTS TICKETS IN A TIMELY MANNER
• PROCESS PARTS WARRANTY CLAIMS & RETURNS

• TRACK AND MEET SALES GOALS

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
