Pay Range: $60,000/yr - 72,000/yr. Exact compensation may very based on skills, experience, and location.
Job Responsibilities:
You are responsible to support the creation and development of beauty brands, products, and beauty categories for a dynamic portfolio of global brands and retailers spanning all channels including niche, DTC, fashion, specialty, and mass.
Scope of role includes but is not limited to:
- Understanding trends and translating them into innovative concepts, identifying market white space, creative writing for brand narratives, inspiring design teams with creative thinking and engaging briefs, client relationship building, pitching and presenting, sales and market analysis, leading internal project meetings, managing artwork, and cross functional partnership with all departments along the way.
- Responsible to support the creation and development of fragrance brands for a dynamic portfolio of global beauty brands and retailers.
- Responsible to support full turn key development from creative concept through market launch and activation. Includes fragrance & formula development, creative concept development, managing creative design brief and internal design process, client management, market analysis.
- Key part of role is to be trend savvy and track industry trends to identify white space opportunities suitable for each unique accounts.
- Role works closely with the Sales team to manage client relations and approval process; design studio and package development team on artwork process including routing and proofreading; and with all internal cross functional teams to manage and drive projects internally.
- Support Manager on all aspects of product development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Have a passion for beauty and a genuine love for haircare
- Creative & Strategic thinker; trend savvy
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in haircare category with other experience from personal care or other beauty categories a bonus
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment and open to change
- Strong analytic, organizational and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, experience, and comfort with presenting to clients
- Ability to process NPD/ Nielsen data is a nice to have
- Ability to analyze retail sales is a nice to have
- Must be team player
