We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This is a key role that requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
```Responsibilities```
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Implement marketing programs
- Manage and increase the retail and distributor's network
- Manage the relationship with the current independent food brokers.
- Participate to Food Shows.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to attract and retain clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales activities
- Conduct regular sales meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
- Overseeing sales promotions and in store merchandising.
- Support the EVP as needed.
```Experience and Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in similar roles, experience in the specialty food category is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proven track record in account management and building long-term client relationships
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Based in the West Coast
- Existing network of Clients in Retail, Food Service and Wholesale food business
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- A bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point
- Ability to travel frequently
- Professionalism and integrity are key
