Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints, estimating costs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management. Responsibilities: - Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project requirements - Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment - Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing - Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients - Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers - Monitor project progress and provide cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget - Collaborate with the construction management team to develop project schedules - Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide expertise on cost estimates and project feasibility - Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, contracts, and change orders Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) - Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry - Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam or HeavyBid - Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations - Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with clients and subcontractors - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Health insurance coverage - Retirement plan options - Paid time off If you have the required skills and experience for this position, we encourage you to apply.
