Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to support test planning and activities for all products for EA portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Serves as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements.
- Participates in the planning, conducting, and reporting of system-level technical testing at the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF), APG, and Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and system contractor facilities.
- assists in coordinating and conducting functional tests for Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs) in support of the PEO IEWS; assists in summarizing, documenting, and reporting various C5ISR/TOC test data and results to the Technical Director, CTSF and Product Manager, Tactical Operations Centers (PdM TOCs).
- participate in TOC working groups and materiel development meetings to assist in developing coordinated fielding and testing schedules.
- Assists in developing and producing Test Design Plans for TOC testing and other PEO IEWS programs and transformation initiatives. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and makes minor adaptations and modifications.
- Provides independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.
- Provides professional engineering support with increasing independent accomplishment.
- Develops, maintains, upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products.
- Also write, implements and reports status for system test cases for testing.
- Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
- Services as a subject matter specialist, providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
- Participates in all phases of risk management.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Experience leading all aspects of PM T&E activities.
- Experience with DOT&E Oversight.
- Experience with T&E WIPT, TSG, VOLT, TEMP, TRR, ERB, CLR, MOO and Test Plans.
- Experience with Engineering Testing, Developmental Testing, and Operational Testing.
- Knowledge of DoD T&E policies and practices, including DoDI 5000.89, and implementing T&E through DoD acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with the use of databases and automated tools for evaluation, analytical, and verification support.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proven verbal and written communications, and the ability to work on multi-functional teams.
- Ability to self-start, multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Experience
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively complex experience in testing of complex mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/electronic systems.
Clearance
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to attain an SCI
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
- Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education.
Other Qualifications
Minimum 25% travel required
Ability to work in office, field and lab environments
