Inside Sales Analyst
Mag Daddy is a small, family-owned magnetic fastener, channel strut and supply manufacturer in Wauconda, IL. Our business is growing, and we are looking for an Inside Sales Analyst who can help take our sales performance to the next level and grow with us. We want people who are driven, with an enthusiastic attitude towards doing whatever is needed.
Reports to: Director of Sales
Pay Classification:
- Full-Time, Exempt
- List of additional benefits furnished upon consideration for employment
- This position would be in our Wauconda, IL office
Responsibilities:
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound cold and warm lead follow-up and some outbound cold calls and emails
- Respond to quotes that come into the Sales Inbox
- Understand customer needs and requirements and demonstrate products
- Work with the marketing team on what products to do promotions on
- Manage the sales booth at local tradeshows and perform online demos to prospects
- Work with Customer Service and Marketing to maintain the email blast list for marketing campaigns, manage price lists and material needed for outside Sales Reps
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity for revenue growth
- Build, generate and analyze clear reports using Excel
- Collate and analyze data to forecast sales trends effectively.
- Review sales data from the past in order to understand trends better.
- Follow current trends within industries, communicate any changes which might impact supply and demand, adjust strategies whenever appropriate
- Regularly share actionable information with the sales and management team.
- Communicate with the management team to guide strategic decisions.
Experience:
- Proven inside sales and analytical experience
- Experience doing B2B and B2C sales
- Experience working with Hubspot and SOS Inventory is a plus.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Experience working in a small business helpful
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- A keen eye for detail and great organizational abilities
- Proven ability to take the initiative
- Skills with multitasking and prioritizing key reports
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with key business-intelligence software
