Position Summary
Euravia North America, a member of the Magellan Aerospace group, has a great opportunity for a Quality Supervisor. The successful incumbent will inspect all parts and associated documentation as required by the repair instructions, Euravia North America “ENA” procedures, FAA regulations and FAA approved data, and shall issue the applicable necessary supporting documentation. The Chief Inspector reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager on all Quality related issues.
Essential Responsibilities
- Represent Euravia North American (ENA) in a professional manner.
- Ensures that ENA quality policies and procedures are followed.
- Direct, supervise, and assist all personnel assigned to the inspection department.
- Issue (or cause to be issued) FAA Form 8130-3 and other certifications.
- Assure the quality of parts repaired by ENA meets the applicable FAA approved data.
- Ascertain that inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station are properly completed prior to tagging the item.
- Ensures that all measuring devices used for inspections are properly calibrated.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in accomplishing the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies, and airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside the Repair Station.
Position Requirements
- FAA Repair Station inspection experience.
- CMM experience required
- Is familiar with FAR’s and understands FAA procedures.
- NDT Level II desirable.
- Working knowledge of processes, documentation and procedures for completion and use of authorizes release certificates.
- Is knowledgeable of component inspection procedure methods and inspection requirements relevant to ENA operational specifications.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
