Primary Location: Essex, VT

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products in accordance with the Vermont Cannabis Control Board, VT State Regulations, and Magic Mann’s Organizational policies

- Providing science and education-based information on strains, effects, and usage methods

- Handle customer transactions and processing payments for purchases

- Ensure that product information and descriptions are accurate

- Assistance in updating products/displays to ensure accuracy for the best customer experience

- Ensure excellent and positive customer service standards are met

- Weighing of any flower products and proper packaging of cannabis products when assigned

- Processing cash and debit card transactions

- Cash handling and counting

- Verifying ID’s prior to sales transactions to ensure proper age requirements are met for entry into the Dispensary

- Ability to provide customers with necessary product information and knowledge regarding cannabis products such as, flower, edibles, tinctures, concentrates, etc.

- Continued ongoing knowledge of cannabis strains, effects, and terpene profiles

- Ability to communicate with all customers and engage in helpful conversation

- Refilling products for Budtender stations when necessary, following Magic Mann policies

- Attend all mandatory monthly staff meetings

- Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Excellent customer service skills

- Completion of state mandatory Budtender Training

- Familiarity with cannabis products and tools

- Resilience in dealing with demanding customers

- Up-to-date knowledge of local products and cultivators

- Ability to maintain confidentiality with customers

- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to follow guidelines set forth by the Vermont Cannabis Control Board (VCCB) and Magic Mann

- Must successfully complete the required background checks (Federal and State) to acquire proper work ID cards and be responsible for renewing it yearly (3 months prior to expiration)
