SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources for North America, the Human Resources Manager will provide high standard of generalist expertise and will be involved in a wide variety of departmental activities, to include recruiting, onboarding, administrative and coordination tasks related to payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, reporting and compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Manager will serve as the primary onsite HR support to the plant site. In this role, you will oversee and assist with the day-to-day delivery of HR programs, projects, and strategies. Primary role responsibilities include a diverse range of duties:
Employee Relations
- Process complaints regarding policy violations and conduct necessary investigations.
- Coordinate open enrollment, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
- Provides support to employees in HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, attendance points, corrective actions, and policy inquiries.
- Promote HR programs related to engagement and recognition to include supporting with appreciation events, corporate social responsibility activities, companywide team building.
- Process all STD, LTD, FMLA, and Workers Compensation claims.
- Counsel team leads and supervisors on employee relations issues and help reach appropriate resolutions.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Sources candidates through walk-ins, referrals, and other avenues to staff production roles.
- Updates and maintains internal and external job postings, opens requisition in ADP, works with online job boards to post jobs.
- Reviews resumes, coordinates and schedules interviews, assists with travel arrangements for candidates, pre-screens and provides hiring recommendations.
- Creates offer letters, conducts background and drug testing, generates new hire paperwork, and ensures IT and payroll are setup.
- Conducts new hire orientation, creates orientations schedule, reviews benefits, employee handbook, and writes welcome announcements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, colleges, and other sources to source high-quality candidates.
HR Operations:
- Completes all regulatory and required audits with 401k, health insurance benefits, payroll, and vacation accruals.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding labor hours, turnover, insurance cost analysis, headcount, and overtime.
- Policy, Benefits, and Leave Administration
- Assist with all compliance filings and required audits.
- Maintain and update employment data with ADP and IS systems; support with ERP implementation project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, minimum 2 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual Spanish required.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proficient on ADP a plus.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
