MagnaFlow is on the hunt for a Social Media Coordinator to join the Brand Marketing Department. Responsible for the development and execution of content for core social media channels, the goal of this position is to drive engagement, build our audience, and increase web traffic. The position will work collaboratively across the organization to meet shared objectives and provide insights and analysis to improve impact and effectiveness of social media campaigns. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about trying new things in the dynamic automotive world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute day-to-day campaigns through popular social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
- Develop monthly content calendar and posting schedule with input from various teams throughout the organization.
- Create and curate engaging visual content (memes, graphics, short video) for appropriate channels, coordinating with the production team and industry partners as necessary.
- Facilitate scaling brand and product awareness by growing and maintain audience and engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.
- Provide a positive brand experience through online interactions with customers and partners.
- Monitor social media landscape for trends and opportunities.
- Provide monthly analytical reports to demonstrate progress on all platforms.
- Assist in the development of meaningful influencer and influential relationships, researching opportunities and monitoring the creation of 3rd party content.
- Support the MagnaFlow brand as a representative at car meets, customer events, and industry trade shows.
- Provide creative input on and general administrative help for programs and projects, as needed.
Skills for Success:
- Minimum 1 year direct digital/social media management experience in a professional capacity.
- Experience working within various social platforms, including the ability to review and interpret analytics.
- In-depth familiarity with the automotive world and automotive culture.
- Willingness to learn, retain, and share both product and brand information.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills to communicate effectively and on-brand.
- Demonstrates good grammar and accurate writing skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
- Critical-thinking skills and the agility to succeed in an unpredictable and fast-paced environment.
- A general understanding of marketing strategy and how to utilize marketing concepts through public outreach.
- Collaborative team player who can integrate with diverse cross-functional teams and simultaneously work toward a multitude of company initiatives at once.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extremely knowledgeable of the different social media and networking channels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of photography and/or video production and processing a plus.
- Familiarity with workflow or project management software (JIRA, monday.com, Trello).
- Ability to work on-site in a professional office environment.
- Available to work some evenings and weekends, with some travel required.
- Possess a valid class C driver’s license and be willing to operate a motor vehicle both on and off-highway.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodations.
