Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional resident care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health status
- Monitor and document resident progress and vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans; assign duties and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses
- Educate staff, residents and residents' families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Manage pain through various techniques, including medication administration and behavioral health interventions
- Perform wound care as needed and assessment of wound progress
Skills:
- Background in supervisory position and assignment of care
- Experience with skilled documentation and Medicare Part A requirements for eligibility
- Knowledge of behavioral health interventions for residents with mental health conditions and behaviors related to Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease
