Responsibilities and Duties
- Build, service and prepare bicycles for customers
- Hire and train other bike mechanics
- Organize prepped bikes and all bicycle related inventory
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all bicycles
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Bike Shop and related storage areas
- Report any supply or parts needs and keep tabs on inventory of service items
- Greeting and serving customers visiting or calling our retail shop
- Assisting with the resolution of customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Educate customers about Magnum Bikes brand and products
- Participating in the customer sales process
- Taking customer payments, including credit card processing
- Create processes around maintaining inventory necessary for your Service Team
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive bike knowledge required
- Passion for the outdoor industry
- Experience and ability to manage 2-4 direct reports
- Excellent customer service
- Sales experience required
- Have a proven history of being reliable and hardworking
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
- Prioritize and complete numerous tasks under time constraints
