What you will do:

Lead the design and development of automation systems, including control systems, robotics, and process automation.
Provide supervision, mentorship, and technical guidance to automation engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate automation solutions into existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
Manage automation projects from conception to completion with scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, timeline.
Continuously optimize and maintain automation systems to ensure peak performance, reliability, and minimal downtime.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and vendors to drive automation initiatives and achieve project goals.
Interest in learning new automation technologies and industry trends, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
Support and promote safety initiatives throughout the company and within manufacturing processes

What you will need:

5 years of experience in automation engineering role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of automation industry standards and best practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical & Autodesk Inventor.
Proven experience in automation system design/implementation, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in automation.
Willingness to travel as required for project implementation and collaboration.
Travel up to 25%.

Experience in developing and interfacing with a variety of electronic control systems.
Experience in designing to certifications and standards (CE, ATEX, ICEX, ISO, UL).
Experience with and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and systems.
Proficiency in Mechanics and Materials.
Background in fabrication and machining.
