Job Description
This role is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a background in Sciences to develop skills in B2B sales of analytical instrumentation while applying the technical knowledge in a wide range of applications. Magritek commercializes high-value NMR instrumentation (“Benchtop NMR”) and target markets include Academic Research and Teaching, Government Labs, Pharmaceuticals, Fine chemicals, food & beverages, and many other industries. The successful candidate will support the sales activities of the account managers and the Technical Applications team, interfacing directly with external customers during the sales process while developing skills for an account manager role in the future.
Main Responsibilities:
· Support the sales activities of account managers by participating in lead qualification calls, developing sales strategies, and executing the existing sales process.
· Participate in developing marketing campaigns and lead generation activities for specific market segments.
· Coordinate activities of the technical sales support team to schedule and execute product demos and feasibility studies.
· Document sales activities; track and report on relevant sales metrics using SalesForce CRM.
· Travel as needed to support conferences/tradeshows, meetings, and on-site product demonstrations.
· Keep up with product information; stay informed about competing products and services.
Qualifications:
· Degree in chemistry, physics, or related field is required.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Previous Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.
· Proficient in MS Office Applications.
· Able to travel domestically to attend trades shows, customer’s meetings and demos.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the US, and work from our office in Malvern PA.
