What we need MAHAR is seeking a HR Administrator to support the HR Business Partner in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. Handles all internal and external requests and asks for assistance as needed. This is a hybrid remote position.
Essential Functions
Prepares, processes and reconciles bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all non-executive employees
Reviews and approves international payroll
Assists in recruiting and onboarding activities
Assists with benefits and 401k administration, including open enrollment and billing reconciliation
Maintains and updates other human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee and safety handbooks, and performance management forms
Maintains and controls HR-related quality documents; will be expected to be certified as an internal quality auditor
Responsible for maintaining all HR records
Performs payroll and insurance-related GL account reconciliation
Performs payroll imports and funding for payroll accounts
Assists Accounting and HR with audits, reporting, analysis and special projects
Performs various administrative duties and backs up the Administrative Assistant in their absence
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
Associate’s degree in related field
1 - 2 years of human resources experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Customer service orientation
Bias for action
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3 or more years of human resources experience
