What we need
MAHAR is seeking a HR Generalist that manages payroll, leads talent acquisition and assists in the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent in HR and Accounting experience
- Strong commitment to professional and ethical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation
Would be great if you had
- Experience maintaining an ATS or LMS
- 3 years or more of talent acquisition experience
- 2 years or more of payroll experience
What you’ll do
- Prepare, process, and reconcile semi-monthly payroll for non-executive employees
- Review and approve international payroll
- Lead recruiting and onboarding activities
- Assist with benefits and 401k administration, including open enrollment and billing reconciliation
- Maintain and manage HRIS and LMS system
- Support MAHAR’s safety program and manage HR-related quality documents
- Perform payroll and insurance-related GL account reconciliation, payroll imports, and funding
- Assists with maintenance and control of HR-related quality documents; will be expected to be certified as an internal quality auditor
