What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Mahima Bhauta?
Operates computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms, and records; evaluates current drawings for accuracy; updates drawings as required; designs layouts and creates construction drawings for facility renovations; organizes and/or maintains records and logs according to established procedures; provides coordination of administrative details for projects or programs. Works with clients to create drawings for events, furnishings layouts and facility renovation projects. Creates presentations for facility project management teams; sends facility files to contractors and consultants to assist with work designed by others other duties as assigned by supervisor.
3 - 5 years of experience as a CAD specialist
Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in engineering, architecture, computer-aided drafting, or directly related field and one year of drafting experience.
OR
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Other helpful skills: Working with ADA specifications. Interior Design would be helpful
