Catering

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented individual to join the Main Event team as a Receptionist.

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Duties include greeting guests, answering phones, managing inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Our business has grown exponentially, and we are excited to add an experienced and highly skilled Receptionist to our team.

Here’s the great things you’ll do :

• Greet in-person visitors, clients, and vendors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person or department.
• Maintain a tidy foyer, front desk, and show room area.
• Make prospective clients and guests feel welcome while waiting for their scheduled tastings with our culinary team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide administrative support, as needed.
• Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
• Additional clerical duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, printers, and scanners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous experience in a professional office environment.
• Knowledge of basic office procedures and protocols.
• Familiarity with CaterXpert or similar catering platform.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Compensation

Pay : $20.00 to $24.00, per hour.

Job Type : Full-time, hourly with the potential to become a salaried employee.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
