Overview
In this position, the Senior Manager, Talent Development will work closely with the Senior Director, Talent Development to execute a learning strategy that enhances the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of MLS/SUM employees. The Senior Manager will help increase employee engagement, promote our core values, and enable our employees to add value and drive competitive advantage across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design new and update existing employee development programs using a blend of eLearning, instructor-led and virtual delivery methods.
- Facilitate leadership and professional development training sessions.
- Support the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews and year-end review trainings.
- Help drive employee engagement across the organization by developing and managing programs that motivate and inspire employees.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage, promote, and report upon current and future leadership development offerings.
- Manage, audit, and update the LMS with relevant content to drive usage, build curriculum and increase skills.
- Manage the compliance training system and track course completions to ensure that all employees are compliant.
- Proactively identify and recommend learning solutions based on employee and leadership feedback that will positively impact employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Regularly analyze and report on program outcomes, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead various special projects as required.
- Additional administrative responsibilities as needed including but not limited to roster management, presentation and/or training documentation preparation, and onsite training venues and logistics coordination.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required. An advanced degree in Communications, Education, HR, Human Development, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- 7 years of progressive experience in human resources with a focus on developing, implementing, and delivering training programs.
- History of self-development and cultivating a culture of learning agility.
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) is preferred.

Total Rewards
Starting Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000. MLS/SUM base salaries are contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
